We Choose the Moon

There is a great site out there that recreates in real time the historic Apollo 11 mission from 40 years ago. It has real time audio, video and other features. So cool.

I wonder if we'll finally see those boulders Neil Armstrong supposedly had to fly over to get to the landing site?

Nah...

  1. Evidently Buzz Aldrin is signing books and answering questions. Please, somebody, ask him how it felt to be on the moon, but stand back.

  2. and since Buzzie Aldrin is evidently signing books and answering questions.......

Ask him..that it is about time he or anyone else for that matter..explains why Neil Armstrong is so transparant all the time in the original footage...

most of the time one can see the background right through him...or does it need a discovery-channel "debunking" episode to explain that one away..And in the same footage...when buzzie and neil are happely bungling around in front of the LM....explain the "ghost" that is walking from the left to the right...of which one can only see the "outlined aura" of the "ghostly astronaut..as if the rest is clumsely erased...

And why oh why are there moving shadows under and beyond the LM when Neil takes his first walk on the lunar surface..brightly in the sunlight...and then when he walks back...there's a lot of moving shadow under and beyond the LM...take a look...did someone forget to erase that...bummer...
